[:-] I think I've only seen a handful of breeders that have a policy like that. The first breeder chargers $50 a week; the second breeder charges $25 a DAY, so it ends up being $175 per week! • alieliza Posted : 4/13/2007 6:07:43 PM Have you taken any steps to contact the dogs that are available for adoption? I really think that would be a good idea. To me it seems silly to pay 1200+ for a dog when you could save a life (of the same breed) for next to nothing compared to that price. Personally, I would rather support rescue than support an irreuptable breeder. I don't mean to come across as negative, but I feel like we are flooded by people looking for mixed breeds and Im not sure what the push is to go with a breeder. I see that you volunteer for a Golden rescue, thats really nice to see. (That would be a plus on an adoption application!)
