Weird, I know, but have you gone to work without showering?

I shower at night and in the morning on the weekends when I don't have to be anywhere early.  I skip a day every now and then depending on my mood and if I have stayed pretty clean...or if I didn't take a shower until the afternoon b/c I was so lazy all day or worked in the house all day.

I like to shower at night b/c it helps me relax and sleep better like Gina said and b/c I never have time in the morning.  Also, I only wash my hair about twice a week but when I do I like to let it dry overnight so I can straighten it in the morning without having to use a blowdryer which I HATE for some reason....I get hot, hate holding it and it takes forever to dry my hair.  Occasionally if I am really cold, I will shower in the morning.  Honestly though, if I don't have to wash my hair, I usually only shower long enough to wash my body and then I take a bath instead!

Now one thing I cannot do is sleep with wet hair. So I always shower about 30 ins prior and my hair air dry's and then I go to bed. I need to cut my hair thinking of that...it's far too long now and has split ends to boot...*sigh* I hate hair dressers.

I get sick if I go to bed with wet hair, so my showers have to be in the morning.  My hair takes hours to dry because its so thick.  If I do shower before bed, I have to really completely dry my hair.  But on days that I do work, on my stuff, nobody pays me... I do have to shower afterwards.  I'm incredibly dusty and there's just no way I want that much sawdust in my bed.

Considering I work out of the house, um.. yeah, I've skipped a shower before work. After waking up at 9:00 am and taking that long drive down the stairs to my computer, who has time?

all the time! It takes too long to dry and straighten my hair. If i need a shower i will scrunch my hair and not blow dry it, but i look like crap all day.

I go to bed with a wet head all the time. And it's still wet the next morning. And it remains wet most of the next day. My hair is a freak of nature.

I *have* to be clean before I go to bed. I can't stand myself otherwise, and I'll be in a very bad mood. I can't stand feeling disgusting, and it's not like I'm actually dirty. I just need to wash the day off of me. Because I get up at 4:15 in the morning and shower right before I go to bed, it's kind of pointless for me to shower again a few hours later, although I have been known to do that anyway.

I take my shower at night. My job gets me dirty, sweaty, whatever. I don't want to get dirt on the bedsheets, so I go to bed clean.

I'm kind of a hippie and when camping (or when I used to tour with Phish which is pretty much a dead giveaway for anyone who knows what the heck I'm talking about)

Am I the only one that didn't know this?  lol  Tell us more about touring with Phish!

I have that problem. I also have super dry, sensitive skin, sweat very little, and wash dog butts for a living. Have I gone to work without a shower? Hahahaaha. Probably more often than notWink I tend to shower every other day or so, to keep my skin from being completely dry.

When I blow dry my hair, it takes close to an hour. And it's a workout, LOL. My hair is very thick, and almost to my waist, again. It's a huge pain. I usually only do it on days I'm not working and am going to wear it down (this weekend, I will, because I'm getting a TITLE PHOTO!!!!!!!!!).

When, I was working away from home, I would take a shower in the evening.....and that felt good.......but, as a woman with long hair, I would have to put my hair up and style it in the morning.....now, I shower in the middle of the day at times.....I have earned that little luxury....Wink

I shower after work when I'm in the field, obviously. There's nothing sweeter than washing all the sweat and filth that accumulates on you after several hours hiking through the bush, sitting in swamps, and climbing about in rocks off in a shower. It's like the first thing I do when I get in, no matter how bloody knackered I am. There's no way in hell I'd go to bed without washing that off. The field is mighty gross, people. I'd say worse than kennels because it's got leeches and plants that leave sticky, smelly residues on you, and cobwebs galore, and for some reason crawling around on my belly out there looking in crevices always leaves me particularly dirty

When I'm in the office, I go to work without a shower if I went to the gym the day before, because I always shower in the evening after going to the gym. Again, I don't like to go to bed with dried sweat all over me. I love showers, and I'll have 2 in a day if I have a decent reason to, despite the serious water issues we have over here, and my obligation as someone in the environmental industry to use water sparingly. If I were walking dogs in the morning before work, I'd definitely have a shower before going to work if at all possible.

Now I rarely go to work without showering, but back when I was working midnights it happened a LOT.  I did not do well on the midnight shift and was often barely able to drag my sorry butt out of bed in time to throw on some clothes and make it to work before the buzzer....

Sometimes, but I work from home and will shower during lunch. If I am at my office-office, they I always shower in the AM. My hair has to be blown dry if I want it to look halfway decent.

I try to shower every morning but sometimes Im just too lazy and spent that time laying in bed instead.  I dont look very good that day, but oh well!
