My favorite pair of jeans which I had for 5 years (you know, the kind that basically grow with you!) "died" a few months ago (I could deal with a hole in the knee, but a hole in the butt?) and I'm still mourning my loss. I did find a nice pair of quite simple, dark wash boot cut jeans which fit well, but....they just aren't the same :(
This was why I had to buy jeans...I got a hole in the butt! My husband said they were fine...of course, he would say that! But, yes, I too am in mourning. I loved those jeans, they fit so good! I still have them, I figured I'll wear them fishin' or campin' or something. Heck, patches are coming back, but where the hole is, it might be tough! I don't usually have the problem with jeans shrinking in the legs (I too am long legged), usually in the waist. I have washed my new jeans at least 3 times now and the length is still good! La la la LAAAAAAHHHH!
