They *do* get embarassed or upset when people laugh at them, and are mean about things, but it's not because they know they look silly. I see it all the time. I *tell* people not to laugh at their shaved bald dogs. When the dog comes out, if they tell it how beautiful it is, it will walk with confidence. If they laugh and point, it will fight the next time, starting at the door. I think Emma would look fantastic in hot pink, with neon green toenails. If I ever get it figured out, she will be pink to her mask, and natural from there up. I'll probably clean her feet, and leave them white, too. • brookcove Posted : 1/18/2007 11:44:18 PM Zhi loves when I am done shaving her (not so much when I am actually doing the deed - I'm still not exactly skilled). She prances, she dances, she holds her head high - I've told her, "you're so pretty, what a pretty girl!" so many times after grooming that she just expects the attention now!
