OH GOSH!

• OH GOSH! Tara Posted : 4/5/2006 1:19:51 PM So I just came home to find something I really never hoped I would. I saw something sort of greyish looking with what looked like a tail, and low and behold, A DEAD RAT! all wet and looking a little ragged around the edges. I'm guessing either the cat found it somewhere and snuck it into the house and the dog got a hold of it, or he some how found it in the house already! yuck! Anyways, he was CHEWING on it!(the dog was, not the cat) Do I have to be worried about him maybe getting sick? • fuzzy_dogs_mom Posted : 4/6/2006 5:29:07 PM A few years ago one of our grandsons was visiting from out of state for Christmas.  While I was in the shower, DH decided to take the kiddos and the dog and walk to the park.  I came out to the kitchen ready for that first cup of coffee and what do I find?  A HUGE dead rat, sprawled right in the middle of the kitchen floor.  So I got out the rubber gloves and a couple of plastic grocery bags, scooped him up and took him outside to the trash.  When the troops came back I asked DH what he was thinking to just walk out and leave a dead rat in the middle of the floor.
