Print out this post with our responses.  Send it to her.  How about teaching your children how to behave around a dog.  Rather then teaching your children that they can dispose of a pet because it's old and not perfectly healthy. • tashakota Posted : 1/10/2007 5:37:15 PM Thank you.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you.  I hate to see the ads for older dogs in the shelter here.  It breaks my heart.  With 4 dogs, all over the age of 6, I know I'll have a lot of seniors at one time and it will be tough, but I would NEVER dump one of them.  How could I?
