Oh, he's just gorgeous. You can definitely work with the housetraining thing. If that's the worst thing about him, you're in good shape! It'll work out if it's meant to be. Keep us posted!

Jeano, it cost 200 to adopt a dog here in Camp Hill, Pa also. Quite expensive.

Well, this has been a strange but exciting day.

I had all kinds of vehicle problems (see NDR for more info--heck--that isn't even the whole story LOL!) and then only ONE student made her way to my house for her lesson out of nine students.

It's supposed to get to -55°F tonight! It was -40 last time I looked....I might cancel lessons tomorrow if this keeps up.

ANYWAY...I didn't make it over to see the dog, obviously. His name has been changed to Finnegan, thank God. BUT I just got an email on an adoption application I made a month ago for a cockatoo!

Her name is Sweet Pea and she's in Anchorage. I'd given up and figured they just didn't want me not having heard from them at all....and then I got an email from her owner.

So I'm excited! I will adopt the bird over a dog right now. And wait for Spring/Summer when I hope I can get a Norwegian Elkhound.

I've been big bird-less for decades and yet I've always missed my birds!
