your dog: buddy or baby?

Stanley's a baby to me, but a buddy to DH. They do fun things together, like going to a neighborhood bar while I wipe his poo off his butt [:D]

    Companion, buddy and family.

FeFe was my little buddy, everywhere I went - she went with me.  Anytime I was happy, she wagged her tail and pranced around... when I was sad, she cuddled close and licked tears off my face.  She became more of a baby when she got sick but was always our first priority. She needed us to take care of her and we did with all the love in the world.

Gracie is both buddy and baby -  she's a loner but gives good snuggles & lovin when she feels like it!  We are each other's defenders & protectors.  While Trixie is the baby.  She needs our care with multiple vet visits, vitamins, dips, etc.  Plus, If we don't keep an eye on her, she just might lick a wall socket LOL

Very much my best friend and very much my baby....  shes still young so at the moment its a bit more babyish while she learns but our relationship will only grow into more and more as our life goes on.  Definitely both and more.  So hard to explain for most of us Im sure....[:)]

Kayla was unworldly connected in a strange soul type way so for her I would explain it as neither, but more as LIFE, everything and beyond.  My spirit, best friend, daughter, my other part, my comfort and inspiration, my world.

Raja is a buddy to me because she is always willing to go with me anywhere, take a nap at any time...as long as she gets the pillow, go for a walk, and she also eats anything I eat...who could ask for a better friend??? BUT, Raja is also my baby because I am so protective of her, even when we are on a walk and a loose dog comes up I am right there in from of Raja to protect her, I worry about her like shes my baby. So both.  Also LOveukaykay, that was a beautiful way of explaining your dog Kayla, she sounds like she was an amazing dog, and sounds like something my  mom would have said about her first dog Scooby, who died at the age of 12 years old.
