    That is sad, poor thing!  How about going to the media like you originally planned?  Couldn't hurt, might save her.  We'll all pray.

    awww, i hope she finds a place to go!  shelters around here wont even come out unless you have already captured the animal or can assure them it will be easily picked up. i have seen a few suspected stray animals around my house, but since they look ok i cant think of calling the shelter, too many of them get put down and they seem to be enjoying themselves.
     
    im sorry you are going through this and that the no-kill shelters pulled out....maybe your shelter has a foster program and you could find a temporary home for her until a perspective adoption?

    She now has a place to go to! [:D] An amazing man from a small rescue agreed to take her without hesitation (I could just hug him!) . She'll be transported there the day she is allowed to leave the shelter.

    Wow, reading this thread! so glad that someone could take her with good intention! Animal planet has you brain washed (since they now have like 15 rescue shows) that all these shelters are just soooo great, when a majority of them are so runned down and poor conditions. These people are suppose to take good care of these animals and find a good home, how sad!
