Dog Island??

• calliecritturs Posted : 8/24/2006 11:31:49 PM Actually Dog Island is a pretty real 'concept' of a lot of die-hard animal rights people -- if you go to the ultimate roots of the real activists (who go much much further than PETA), it really IS about 'freeing' animals from people.  Allowing them to revert to a totally natural state and not being 'ruled' or directed by humans at all.  These folks honestly would love to make it illegal to own pets of any sort -- that all current pets should just be allowed to die thru attrition and all animals should be returned to a 'wild' state and not be 'imprisioned' by humans and their 'will'.    THAT is scarey to me.  I've moderated a veg*n messageboard for 8+ years now, and I'm not just blowing steam.  I've seen all sorts of activists very serious about such stuff.  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
