astaracheetah, I am from Denver and I had good luck with the ddfl website:

    http://www.ddfl.org/pawsearch.asp

Good luck, I know it is difficult. I have the names of a couple of previous landlords that renter in the city of Denver if you want to pm me. But not in the burbs, just in Denver......

I agree with making up a "resume" of sorts for the dog.  For a landlord who was merely wary (not one truly adamant about not letting dogs in) that could be the thing that tips the scale in your favor.  Not only would it serve to impress upon the landlord that you are a responsible owner and that you care enough to go that extra mile, but keeping a good attitude about things, plus a professional-looking dog dossier could show that you would be a pleasant tenant.  And I don't think they would have to know the vet to care what they have to say.  Do you regularly go to one training center/trainer that could write a letter of recommendation for you?  Proofs of licensing and vaccination and a couple of letters of recommendation (one signed "dog trainer" and one signed "DVM") should be enough to impress most even very slightly dog savvy people.

    Good luck!

If they're worried about the carpet at all I've got that covered - I own a carpet steamer/shampooer for such emergencies.  >^_^<

Thanks for that Denver site.  I'll keep looking on it... and maybe I can find something.  I found one house that's affordable in Littleton, and pets are allowed but under "additional comments" it says "prefers no pets but might consider."  If I'm planning on getting a 3rd animal I dunno how happy that landlord would be lmfao...

Tomorrow I might drive around looking for "for rent" signs... the only thing about that though is, I don't think there's a way to tell which house allows pets without calling and it would be very time-consuming.  >X.x;<  I think I'll buy a sunday paper as well.

Bleh well I went and saw a townhome today and was nice despite the lack of a yard... and the lady wouldn't budge on a third pet so I don't think that one is an option...  Oh well.. her loss lol...

I found an ad for a house that will allow 3 pets, but it's from December of last year (wonder why it's still up), and it's a 30-45-minute drive on the highway to work and back from there which would totally suck...  This is the FIRST house I've come across allowing more than 2.  Let's hope I can find one closer to home... I've got 2 1/2 weeks left and that corgi puppy is growing closer to 12 weeks every day.... >@.o<
