I would love to get into
et photography. ( I live in NYC though, so Im sure it would be tough competition.... and I don't have lights, etc.) I took a course in college where I developed/printed my own black and whites, and we did a *small* bit of matting....
I just bought a Nikon d50, its entry level, but for now it does me good. I really wanted a digital slr, but they were so expensive, I just went for the d50.
I get all my digi prints printed from shutterfly.com... Its the same kind of deal as webshots.com, mentioned above.... they host the pics, and you can order right from their website. They are always running specials, and I think they are affordable. You can choose matte or glossy prints, etc.
