It's a Girl!!!

No we didn't get a pic.  I wanted to but for some reason with the holiday my GST and Childsupport were both late and they want 30 bucks for the pics!  Oh so I guess thats another thing I have to pay for.  We just had to pay first and last on our new place plus put down deposits for gas, hydro, and cable, since they were all included here.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a boy for you!

Congrats on the girl and I like the *potential* name!

As an aside, my former stepson's g/f was pregnant five years ago, had 3 ultrasounds, was told each time it was a boy.  She carried high in front and when the baby was born, guess what?  It was a girl!  So much for all that boy stuff they were prepared with![sm=lol.gif]

I have heard of that happening too.  But more with that situation than this one.  I have heard of lots of techs mistaking the umbilical cord for the penis.  I had a 3d ultrasound and even to me it seemed pretty clear.  I suppose though that it is always a possibility.

I found out what Heather was at about 5 months along. Kelly, on the other hand, was a pain in the rear to figure out the sex. We went in for TWO ultrasounds, and she didn't cooperate either time. She made sure to be turned in the wrong direction both times. So we had no clue what it was going to be until she popped out.

With this one, I'll be sure to watch the monitor and get my own opinion on it's sex. I believe I have 4 weeks or so left until I can find out. But I do have some cute pictures of the baby from my last ultrasound. Kind of looks like a power ranger. lol  Once I can find a scanner to use, I will share.

And please do keep your fingers crossed! I can't imagine 4 girls in one house...

I always get a little jealous of those perfect little households. One boy, one girl.

    Congrats!!!

Personally I would have liked my one boy and one girl to be a little closer in age than they will be.  Kale will be almost 8 when his sister is born.  2 years would have been my ideal.  But hey I'm not complaining.

If we could afford to eat out every night until then we would. Less work around here. haha

    I'm with you on that.

Here's an old wive's tale. A pregnant mother can marke her child by something she's fascinated with. What follows is absolutely true and may lend credence to that maxim.

My younger brother was born November 22, 1966. My mom was pregnant with him for most of that year. It was also the premiere season of the original " Star Trek" series. My mother's favorite character was Mr. Spock. My brother has pointed ears. Not a sharp point like the costume pieces worn by Leonard Nimoy. But they do come to point. He has vulcan ears. I think my mom was watching Mr. Ed when she was pregnant with me. How else do you explain me being a life-long smart aleck?

Congratulations! You will LOVE having a girl! I have a 19 month old little girl and she is SO much fun! Now that she isn't a "baby" anymore she loves having her toenails painted and her hair done. She calls it doing her "pretties"! And don't get me started on girl clothes! LOL

    Thanks Everyone!

Oh Toenails!!! I forgot about toenails!  And piggytails!  And hair clips!  I am so excited.  I hope my baby is born with lots of hair.  Of course just cause I said that she won't be.
