lol maybe i just attract jerks then.. and yeah my friends were HUGE jerks. and i accused them of never having any real friends because of it. But, they were always straight up, and i like it when people are straight up. it hurts your feelings, but then again,  it also hurts your feelings when you have a booger hanging out your nose and spinach in your teeth and your friends let you walk around all day looking like that....
 a couple of them i talked to online most of the time, as well as in person, so my theory is when you are hiding behind a computer monitor, its easy to act differently than you would in society.... like a dog that barks at you behind a fence, and then runs and hides when you approach him. of course... thats most people, not just folks from the UK.

Personality:  Anna Nicole.  It's sad she died, but I'm so sick of hearing her name on the news.  There are other things happening in the world that I would rather hear about.  Am I the only one who is astonished at how much press she's gotten since her death.  Oh, and I don't really care who the father is of her baby.

personality: AM talk radio or tv morning show hosts (screechy whiney yucky)
entertainment phenomenon: voter initiatives (voting on complicated issues based on TV ad info - yeah, that was a good idea)

Celeb: Britney Spears...although I do think she's in a place now that it's awful to make fun of her. She crossed the line from kooky to in need of serious help.

celeb:  lou dobbs.  how dare you claim to be the voice of the middle class and then publish your book with penguin, one of the largest publishing companies in the world?  there were plenty of "small business" publishers you might have chosen who would have done the same job but cut into your profits, so instead, you chose the "big business", which is exactly who you are railing against... which side are you on, pal?

entertainment phenom:  christian punk.  i might get flamed for this, but i'm an old cranky punk and i don't care.  the whole point of being a "punk" is that you don't have faith in ANYTHING.  do we not see the sick irony here???  love religion if you will, that's not my business.  love punk if you will, but since that IS my business, at least know the history of the movement, and understand how terribly ridiculous you look and sound to those of us who were there at the beginning.  to this, i would like to add the recent phenom of "hardcore" and "aggressive" music that has found its way into the mainstream.  i don't mean to offend the lot of you, but this music is produced by big studios, which really, truly defeats the purpose.  what, exactly, is being rebelled against?
 
 

speaking of Rosie and Anna Nicole.... i happened to have the tv tuned into the View one day and Rosie said something about being sick and tired of Anna Nicole and her maternity problems always on the news.... Anna Nicole DIED THAT DAY!!! Rosie did it!!! Tooooo much of a coincidence, dont you think??
