• magilacudy Posted : 3/7/2007 9:00:49 AM angel our ducks were never clipped,  they stuck around because we fed them, thats why i don't understand the need to clip them.   I have ducks that are the best flyers. They are also very expensive to replace, so I clip them to avoid the chance of them taking off. Out of the 100's I've had, when I bring new ones home, they have flown away. Lost about $50 that way. So now I clip them.  As for my non expensive ones. They can fly to the top of the house and perch there. Something I don't want.
