It's not what you think! xD I wrote him a piece of piano music for his birthday 
He IMed me last night going "Pssst!" and I was on my way out the door "Hey! I said PSSST!"
So my reply was *shrinks* ...I'm sorry, I'm on my way out the door.
"I'm not ignoring you. School started again Monday, I'm swamped. We're fine. And you are a cute mush."
To which I tackled him and returned to my normal self (Well...as normal as I can possibly be).
