Long overdue Mom update

• BEVOLASVEGAS Posted : 1/2/2007 8:02:23 PM I am dealing with the rehab portion of your problems with my grandmother.  (She had a brain aneurysm)  She is much more alert and focused in the mornings to mid afternoons, but in the evenings she becomes confused and sometimes disoriented.  The doctors & therapist assure us that this will improve with time, but for now you just grin and bear it. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • glenmar Posted : 1/2/2007 8:10:53 PM Mom still has a bit of dementia as a result of the ultra low sodium, the head trauma from the falls and the seizures....and the loss of focus later in the day is called Sundowners, just so you know, but man, it is scarey to see!  And, darn, it was still bright and sunny when that happened today!  Really blew me away that she called me at the office that confused.  I just stayed on the phone with her until Sis arrived and I could her BIL talking...then clued BIL in.   Sis said the outing did WONDERS for her tho, so that's great.  She was whipped tonite and ready for bed at 7, but it was good for her to get out.  We'll take her out for dinner Sunday. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
