The differences in being a kid and being an adult

How fun!  We never had PJ day during spirit week in high school, but if we had, I'm not sure my one-piece jammies with the feet in it would have been cool or just plain dorky.

Now that I'm all grown up I have flannel pjs with Tweety Bird all over them!

I LOVE footy pajamas...lol..."sleepers" whatever you wanna call them. I wish they made them in my size. I can ALMOST fit into the size 16 ones in the girls section of Target but they're a bit too short [:(]

GINA- your kids are adorable!!!  Love those pictures![:D]

Can JJ and Pru join in on the PJ day?? They have their own jammies...

When I am working, we can't have a pj day. We have to wear durable clothing, shoes, hard hats, safety glasses, per OSHA. And I don't wear pj's, which would make everyone point and laugh.

Check Walmart. I think that's where my cousin got hers. She's like 5'9" and a bit heavyset, so I'm sure they have them in your size. [:)]

That's why I love animals; they preserve a youthful soul! [:)]

We had crazy hair day at work. Everyone had to make their hair crazy somehow. Most poeple participated with glee.

Ron - now there's a funny image --- an electrician in his flannel PJs, wearing a hard hat, steel-toed boots and safety glasses.  But you're right, you might get a few raised eyebrows if you came to work in your own "sleeping attire," even if you did meet all the above OSHA requirements!! [;)]

When I worked in the accounting office of a large hospital, we were always jealous of the employees who got to wear scrubs -- that's like PJ day EVERY day!  In fact, a few of us (including me [:)]) asked if our department could adopt that "uniform."  We even told our boss we could wear green ones to represent the color of money, so we'd be identifiable as the finance department!

I dunno... maybe I missed the "its time to grow up" memo - and so did my bosses. They run around here shooting each other (and me, even though I glare daggers at them) with the nerf dart guns, and every so often the VP (and part-owner) liberates us all to go bowling for the afternoon. When I think about changing jobs I remember how UN-uptight we are, and suddenly have a new appreciation for my job.

I work in MRI and it is required that we wear scrubs every day.  I have a million different pairs, colors, clogs.  It's so easy.  The only problem is that I have to watch that I don't gain a ton of weight because it's easy to gain and not realize it in those types of clothes.

But, I see what your saying. . .it's just like Christmas. . .used to love it. . .now can't wait for it to be over every year.

I still remember being a kid in the middle of summer when my Mom and her best friend would load the kids into the car and head for the lake. It was always a race to the water where we would submerge ourselves for the entire afternoon. I was always puzzled by the fact that my Mom and her friend never even touched the water. They would sit in the shade and talk all day. It was beyond my comprehension why anyone could pass on the delight of the refreshing water, pass on all the fun!?
Now that's me! I really don't like being wet. I rarely even wear a swimsuit to the beach. Just like my Mom I prefer to find a nice shadey tree and indulge in a book. Sad but true!
