• sandra_slayton Posted : 12/7/2006 8:08:10 PM Well, forty two  years ago hubby was just out of the navy and working in a motor shop (rewiring motors) just off the square in Tyler, Texas, and I was working in the sporting goods at Dillards on the other side of the square.  We met for lunch at Doc's Steak House there on the square every day and he would always play Downtown (Petual Clark) on the juke box   for me  Everytime either of us hears it on an oldie station we think back to those days when we were kids meeting for lunch, both  so young (he was just shy of 21,  I was 19.)  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
