• college football fans ? cyclefiend2000 Posted : 12/4/2006 3:17:18 PM i know there is some controversy over whether or not michigan should be playing for the national title. so here is my ponderance... assuming florida beats osu (unlikely i know), and michigan beats usc (seems like a good possibility). does michigan have any claim to the national title? even if it is just to share the title? • Roxie865 Posted : 12/5/2006 12:38:38 AM Florida's schedule has been pure hell.  They've beaten Tennessee ([:@]), LSU, Georgia, and Arkansas.  Yeah, they lost to Auburn, but that was a so-so call.  It could have gone either way, and Auburn is a very good team.  Despite their record, Georgia is a good team, too.  Week in and week out, playing in the SEC is brutal.  South Carolina almost beat them, but they almost beat other teams by a small point margin.  It's a tough league with more quality teams than any other conference.  Florida earned it. Michigan has played a cupcake schedule, beating an overrated Wisconsin team.  Oh, wait.  They demolished Notre Dame, who was blown out of the water by USC, who, in turn, had their butts handed to them by a pitiful UCLA team.  Almost any team from the SEC would go unbeaten with a Big-10 schedule.  It's quite easy.
