i caught a mousey!

when i came home today we had caught another one, possibly the same one. if they are going to take the time to get back in they must want back in pretty badly..i don't mind if they want to stop in long enough for a meal (out of the cube!), i will just keep catching and releasing. as long as they arent leaving "presents" in my kitchen or chewing anything up they arent hurting me none. ally got to see this one, she was sad when we let it go. he was just as cute as the first. these are definitly mousies, dh said it was full grown even though it was so tiny. i felt bad for the little guy because apparently he was trapped in there long enough to eat the generous sized chunk of cookie i baited it with.

They are adorable! maybe I should get one of those cube things, because we have different traps. You put peanut butter on the inside, the mouse goes in, and I think the trap chops the mouse or gets it stuck or something. But we've moved since then, and I don't know if we still have those or not...

Oooooh... I've also caught rats and moles!!!![

There was a baby mouse at my grandma's house, and my dad brought it home. He put it in like an empty tub of butter, and then put peanut butter in there! Can you believe him? When I took the poor thing out, it was covered in peanut butter! It was so young, I don't think its eyes were even opened yet. We tried to take care of it, but it died. Poor mousey........[
