In one of the accounts I read, TO supposedly admitted to trying to "hurt" himself.

How much of an idiot do you have to be to screw up killing yourself? Maybe I should write a "how to" tutorial and post it on the internet.

I personally think that 95% of the attempted suicide cases are just out for attention. I mean come on, you swallow a bottle of pills then call up an ambulance, and yet you were trying to kill yourself? Come on!

Hmm how much do you think they paid that woman to shut her mouth and change her story? And the cops who were on the scene...and the fire rescue...lmao! 25 million indeed!

I agree. If you want to draw attention to yourself, run naked through a mall in Kokomo Indiana. Worked for me. Sure, that was MANY years ago and that sort of thing was much more popular than it is today but it certainly got a lot of attention. [

Yeah, my sister, who happened to be there with several of her friends, was proud of me too. She thinks it is funny now, but she certainly wasn't amused back then.

Oh yeah. *Streaking* was very popular in the 70s. Even today there are always at least 2 or 3 people that run the "Bay to Breakers" in San Francisco nekkid. Much more common in SF than in Kokomo, though. []

Enough of TO. What really got me about the whole thing is that they broke into programming to announce TO's fiasco. Okay it's news worthy but is it worth a special report? @ that same time there was a man who had gone into a school in Colorado & taken kids hostage. He ended up killing himself & 2 kids. Is that less important than a sick man grabbing as much media attention as he can?

Isn't that the truth?? They interrupted a program a day or so ago to tell us that on Entertainment Tonight they were going to spill the beans about who the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby is ... like anybody cares? If someone is going to interrupt something I'm watching, at least let it be something important.
