Anyone want to help?

This is so good to hear, Glenda.

Been awhile so figured I'd better do some major updating.....

The house is finished and has the basics in it.....all the furniture is in place, almost every piece of it for free and most of it either NEW from a furniture store, or like new from private individuals.  The beds are made, the bathrooms are set with soap, shampoo, towels, etc.  Mom can choose other things more to her liking later, but for now, the house is ready to live in.  We've gotten a ton of clothing for the kids, again either new or nearly new.....and mom still has gift certificates to use to get whatever else the kids might need.  The grocery donated box after box after box of staples and every item is put away in her kitchen.

The family is coming home on Wednesday.....the entire family!  This is really exciting for everyone in our Church to have made this happen for this family and to have been able to find soooo many others willing to help.  We've even gotten great cooperation from DHS....not something that happens terribly often!

My thanks to everyone HERE who helped and for anyone who would like to still help, of course there will be ongoing needs.  This family has been truely blessed after such a tragedy.

Does she still need little girls clothes? I am cleaning out my daughters closet today and getting rid of her winter stuff from last year. All I have is 12 months because she is in 18 months this winter, but if you could use size 12M winter clothes I have a bunch including a couple brand new coats that Peyton never wore because EVERYONE seemed to get her a coat last year LOL Also do you know what size diapers she wears? I always bought them at costco and we are potty trained now so I have some left over, size 4. I also have size 4 shoes if she needs them.
    Let me know,
    Carolyn

Gosh, that would be great.  All the children are smallish for their ages so the 12M would be wonderful.  I sure wouldn't turn down diapers for her either....if they are too big now, she'll grow into them eventually!  If you don't mind sending them, just drop me an email and I'll give you my addy.

Again, I am going to say that this is awesome.  Thanks to Glenda and a lot of other people this family can start over.

It's amazing what can happen when people come together for the common good!

Glenda and everybody that's helped out - stores, manufacturers, people - you guys/gals rock!
