• glenmar Posted : 8/31/2006 8:11:22 AM OK, I'm gonna miss the shorts and sleeveless tops days.  I'm not fond of having to wear shoes, and I'm not thrilled about the idea of winter coats, gloves, snow shoveling etc, BUT, I love this time of year.  The crops are all coming in, the freezer is rapidly filling, the pantry shelves get a renewal of home canned tomatoes and salsa and jalepenos.....   AND the very best thing is sooner or later we'll got a HARD FREEZE and by golly, all the snakes will go away for the winter!  Yahoooooooooo!! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. I put in almost 20 bushes this year and I'm going to miss having cut flowers for the house... • dogslyfe Posted : 8/31/2006 10:17:05 AM Best thing about Fall FOOTBALL SEASON college and pro's both....awesome and I'm so glad it's here! Oh YEAH BABY!!!! I've finally decided football is my fave. spectator sport (to watch on TV). I also like the smell of the air... leaves, crisp air, and the look of the sunlight. I think its my favorite season by far. • Aimee Posted : 8/31/2006 2:50:24 PM I think the best thing about fall is the smells...I love all those fall scented candles and spiced fall scents! I love it! I also love the cruchy sound leafs make when you walk and I love the warm and snuggly feeling you get wearing a sweatshirt or sweater to warm you up. • Spazzy Posted : 8/31/2006 7:03:13 PM I ALWAYS wear jeans and sweat shirts, so there isn't really much difference there. But it is getting colder. I'm to lazy to take my AC out, so my room is FREEZING in the morning when I get up(I don't have it on, the air just gets through the big spaces between the AC and window). I'll take it out...... eventuly[&:].   Nice garden, it looks pretty.
