That was interesting, but I'm not sure how much I agree with the way he has framed the intersection of science and religion - basically that religion picks up where science leaves off. I think they are, and have always been, more intertwined... in fact they used to be far more fused together than they are now. In ancient Greece the study of natural science, mathematics, and theology were all one big area of study. Aristotle's
Physics is a great example - it looks at what the natural world is, the nature of kinesis (movement) and change, and progresses toward an examination of the nature of the "Prime Mover." The idea that science and religion are not only separate but at odds with one another is relatively new.
