I feel like someone out of a tv show

True, no barium cocktails. Though he could make me drink something medicine-like just to see the foul expression.

    Those pictures are chilling.

    Those pictures are chilling.

Yes, yes they are. When we got out of the car Wednesday, even though I did see it then, it didn't really hit me (pun not intended) until yesterday when we went to take a few more things out of the car, which is when those pictures were taken. It really is quite a testament to the engineering of today's vehicles seeing that, and realizing that I was in there, and came out of it in pretty good condition. Yeah, the cars are wrecked, none of us who were in them are, and not too long ago we would have been.

Wow, how did I miss this!! Im so glad you are doing alright, I got the chills when I read the post.

I was in a car accident a few months ago, in a new car, I was out driving at night and this guy was driving like 10 feet behind me with the long lights on, and being a big pain and he drove me off the road and I hit a cement fence, and messed up the car really bad. The idiot didnt even stop, I guess he was in a big hurry!

DS and I werent hurt (just a bit of seatbelt burn) but my sis got a few stitches on her chin. Luckily we all had our seatbelts!!

Firstly, I am glad you are okay! I got into a car accident the summer before last. My mom was driving and some guy just wasnt watching what he was doing and he hit us HEAD ON! Stupid idiot was talking on a cell phone! I can not stand cell phone drivers. I was even more annoied when he tried to move his car so it would look like it was not his fault. I got beat up from the air bag and the seat belt. After looking at the car I am lucky I had a seat belt on because the car more fully hit the passangers seat. From the looks of things I was very lucky not to be badly hurt. Take it from experiance and take it easy for a few days even if you feel like you can move around like normal. Your body is in shock...just take it easy.

Glad you're OK.  Take it easy and rest a bit!

I was hit by a lady looking for a cigarette in her purse, if you can believe it. I had the world's first hatchback LTD. She hit me at about forty MPH when I was sitting at a stop light. This was many years ago and I STILL get mad since I had bought my LTD for 100.00 (yep, REALLY!) and it ran like a top--the paint wasn't even oxidized and it was 15 years old!

Lori, I have no idea what an LTD is.

Wow, I was out of town for the weekend and I just saw this. Glad you're ok! Rupert is sending some gentle nuzzles. [:)]

LTD stood for limited, which is a misnomer, since Ford made so many of them. I used to have a '70 Ford LTD with a (V8) 351 Cleveland Police Interceptor, traction bars, and a Holley carbeurator. That thing would drive so fast I once took a turn at about 45 mph under an overpass and beveled off the exhaust pipe. My first wife, before we were married, was in trouble from a guy she barely knew and I was on my way to do him in, if necessary. Even though he was high on cocaine, I talked him into walking away.

Another time, I made 30 miles in 20 minutes in Dallas traffic on I-35E. Anyone who lives in this area nows what I'm talking about. And I made with broken motor mounts. That was a sweet car.
