Both of my cats love Tigger and they will try to play with him. Eli is more willing to let Tigger get closer to him while Mocha rather have his distance.

OOooooooohhhhhh. I couldn't figure out if it was some sort of deformed bunny rabbit or a smooth coated guinea pig on steroids. [:D] Well, now a Chinchilla makes sense. Its very, very cute.

I get this response with Tigger all the time when ever I let him outside during the summer or when ever anyone sees him. I have gotten a respone such as deformed squirrel.  Tigger is very cute especially when he is not being evil which is rare. He is also very soft he is soft as velvet.

That is so funny!  It looks like Tiger and Eli are great friends!  Especially from your pic on your sig!

Until this past Wednesday, I thought a Chinchilla was a type of spider :).  Then my friend commented on wanting one but said they are expensive, which led to a convo about them.  She said they were furry and kinda like a ferret or guinea pig but not really.  When I saw the pic of tigger I wondered if it was a chinchilla and was going to ask but I was beat to it!

    Tigger is a cutie!

Chinchilla are expensive animals. Tigger was $89.00 just for him alone. Then you have to buy the rest of the stuff which can cost you another $100.00 depending on what cage you get for them. I love when Tigger has his dust bath he turns 3x lighter then his color. Also depends if you buy one that likes to destroy everything you put in his cage which sadly it seems Tigger is the most destructive chinchilla that I know of.

They also bark, chrip, grunt, coo, and there is anothing noise they make. Plus they live longer then most rodents from 10 to 25 yrs of age. Plus they are so soft!!

Well he's positively beeeyoootiful. I can't believe they live that long! Wowee.

What does Blue think about Tigger??

What does their fur smell like? You know how you some cats fur smells so good. Do they have a pleasing odor or are they rodent smelling?

Tigger and Blue have only met twice. First time was tigger was having his dust bath in his bucket, Blue was scared to death of tigger and the 2nd time Blue was wanting to play with Tigger when I had Tigger running around with the cats

I just don't let Blue and Tigger around one another because I'm scared of Blue hurting my little Tigger and I don't want to be crying the whole night over again because Tigger got hurt again. I don't want to repeat that stuff all over again!

Tigger really doesn't have a smell he does have a faint scent of his pine bedding, but not really a smell to him. Nope I  have never notice a rodent smell with Tigger.

Eli has a crazed look in his eyes in that second one.  It's adorable!
