Oh I just want to run my hand over that baby belly. She so sweet looking. Cant wait for baby pictures.
I cannot tell if my beagle is pregnant or not any hints?
You've inadvertently posted on the end of a really old post from 2007.
Dogs can be fertile before you can even see the obviousl sign of them dripping the discharge during estrus. They're also often fertile beyond when you'd think they are. (and they can conceive by more than one male during that time, in fact).
The only thing I can tell you is go to the vet. Don't try to tell by palpating (because you can actually injure puppies that way). Your vet is truly the ONLY way to know, and please don't put that off.
Why???? Because a false pregnancy can be dangerous -- it can hide symptoms of pyometra (a dangerous infection that occurs in post-estrus females -- it's literally an infection in the swollen uterine tissues that usually onsets during estrus).
So finding out whether they are or aren't pregnant isn't just to help you schedule a happy event -- but it can also help you prevent a horribly life-threatening infection. There's really no easy way to know if they caught or not.
