Henrietta (our pup) discovered this morning that she could grab the end of the toilet paper roll and run down the hall into the living room with it.
I think she was just trying to help decorate for Christmas? She decided the end needed to be shredded into a pile of white fluf like snow. oh what fun!

To me that look says, "Mom, I just found this here on the floor. I'm gaurding it for you just to make sure no one tries to steal it."

For some reason bread just seems utterly irresistable to my dogs. One time I accidentally left a loaf cooling on the counter overnight. I heard Conrad get up and leave the room in the middle of the night, but he sometimes goes to get a drink of water or sleep on the couch, so I didn't think much of it. Until the next morning when I woke up and looked over to see Conrad sleeping soundly on his bed, curled up with an uneaten loaf of bread with 4 teeth marks in it. He couldn't figure out how to eat it (crusty bread, a big round loaf) so he just gave up and snuggled with it instead.

And yes, for those who are wondering, we ate it anyway. Bread is way too time-consuming to make to just throw a loaf away because your dog snuggled with it!

And to answer the question... I have NO IDEA who stole the bread off the counter. That sweet face just tells me she couldn't have done anything but guard what the evil intruder left on the floor!!
