Favorite spot

Zoe's new favorite spot is to sit up on our pillows and look out the window. Sometimes she sits on the window sill like a cat.

Umm, Mom, do I have to get down too!

Oh Zoe you are adorable, Stace, need to alert you about something though, I set up a couch and bay window for Brando and Trixie, they loved it but they jumped up and down so many times that the pressure knocked Brando's back out, now I will concede that he is fragile but don't take the chance their legs are so short that the jump if you think about it is enormous, so maybe get some pillows or those steps so she doesn't have to jump, the other thing that this encouraged was barking since I moved the couch and they can't see out they don't bark much at all.

Thank you so much for your concern... it's one I always have being mom to a dachshund. Zoe is actually up on our pillows on the bed so she just crawls off them onto the bed and she has stairs from the bed to the floor. As far as barking, this actually helps a bit because she barks at any noise outside and now she can see what it is and not bark! However, because I go back to work this week, she will get less window time anyway, mainly afternoon and evenings

. I also give gluc. and ester c to hopefully prevent back trouble when she does decide she wants to jump (from other things) and her legs are long for a dachshund so I am hoping that will help. Her back going out is my huge fear so I constantly try to prevent it! I appreciate your concern a ton!

Oh good, on the glucosamine and ester c, I put my guys on it last month, and chondroiton and msm. they are a lot older then Miss Zoe. They really miss their window, and don't laugh I even got a bay window for them, and now they can't use it!

Could you put a ramp or stairs by the bay window for them?

Those shams are now our guest bedroom too

. We got it at Kohl's a few yrs. ago.
