Where did HE come from?

I actually got him from a lady that contacted me through my ferret rescue website. She knew I was local and thought if I was a good fert mom, that I might be a good dog mom too. She had hand-raised 9 puppies from a rejected litter. Apparently her neighbor had an "addidental" breeding between her two intact dogs. [:@] The mommy dog was too tiny to handle the litter according to the neighbor. She said her dog wasn't producing enough milk for the puppies so she was going to take them to a shelter and drop them off.

Well, she didn't want that to happen so she took in all 9 puppies and raised them herself (apparently she had raised pups before with her mom so she had experience). Kobi was the runt of the litter and was the last to find a home. Several woman had agreed to come pick him up and then never showed! So, she e-mailed me telling me she was going out of town and needed to find him a home ASAP. I saw the pictures and fell head over heels for this adorable pup! I told her I could be there in 20 minutes. The rest is history. [:D]

If she is half dachsie, you'll love her!  They have such personality and are absolutely adorable!  And, maybe she won't bark a lot since she has some other dogs in her because that is the only down side of a dachshund, and even that is ok :).

My roomie grew up with a dashund and he is such a sweetie pie! He can get a mighty howl/bark going, but that's only when he's excited. Kobi tends to be a bit vocal already, but I think that's more because of my other boys getting him wound up when they play.

Here is a great pic that shows off his powerful personality. He is sooooo ferocious![:D]
