That's a good place to start! Feeling sleepy here too and the cloudy skies are not helping!

Sleepy here, too. Busy. And hungry. So I think I'll go to lunch.

Add me to the list of sleepy and hungry.

I finally went to the docs today. It dawned on me that this med I'm taking for something else suppresses my immune system. No wonder I can't seem to fight off this infection. I am even running a temp today.  So I got some antibiotics and cough meds. Plus some prescription allergy stuff. Hopefully this will all do the trick.

Anyone watch orange is the new black?  They just released a new season. I might have to binge watch that today

hope you are feeling better soon Julie!

I tell you this site still has major tech issues. I can't get it to load properly on Firefox and all my other sites are loading fine. Popped over to Chrome and it loads much faster. Very strange.

I am working from home today which feels lovely. I was really run down I guess, I slept well this weekend and still crashed really early last night.

This will shock many of you - we really need rain!! We started to get some the other day for the first time in three weeks and all we got was a few scattered drops. I spent the weekend trying to water here and there as a lot of the plants are stunted but alive. Forget the lawn at this point.

Oh and due to the dryness, Bambi and her gang of marauders are out again. I came back from an early walk with B and they had eaten every one of the lily flowers!! No doubt the squash plant is next LOL

That's all. I am having waves of B's lump will be nothing and it will be worst case. Nothing in between has crossed my mind.

And I think I am going to go ahead and get the car I was talking about. I can't see paying extra for the color leather I prefer, I still consider the upmarket one but that doesn't really make sense, I can afford it but don't need to spend the extra

I don't watch that show, Julie, but I've heard very good things about it.  My friend and I were talking the other day about how we both think the movies (in theatres) have been pretty low quality in recent years (there are fantastic exceptions, but I generally speaking there isn't much out there with much originality, great scripts, interesting characters, etc.).  It seems like TV is now the source of high quality shows and movies, especially on the cable networks.  TV seems to be drawing more of the writing and acting talent nowadays.

I just saw the photos Doug and Glenda posted yesterday.  Doug, the little pup looks like he's taking to everything with great enthusiasm.  What a cutie-pie.  And Glenda, that beach wedding looked lovely.  Beautiful setting and a beautiful couple!

Also from yesterday -- Karen, I wish the decision about what car to buy was the only difficulty weighing on your mind right now.  I've been thinking of you and Bugsy very often and am sending you lots of strong vibes.

Update on Ruby's Not-So-Excellent-Fish-Oil-Adventure:  she got a bath this weekend and finally doesn't smell like fish anymore (intestinal tract all back to normal, too).  But the carpet still smells fishy, and the stain is reappearing as we walk in that area.  The carpet guys said they may have to come back and spot treat it more than once.  The stain is bad enough, but I really don't want the smell to linger.  Ugh.  Ick!

Hi all, I don't usually add in on these chats but I wanted to stop by and say hi! I saw something about Orange is the New Black. My Girlfriend made me watch the first few episodes with her and I finished the rest of season one in like two days. Worth the watch. That's my two cents for today. Hope you are all well.

I read a review of Orange is the New Black.  They trashed it which could be a good endorsement. lol  Adamsbrianc729, Hi back at you. :)

Karen, I hope you get some rain soon.  I can't believe I said that. lol  We had an inch yesterday in a sudden storm and just now it rained like crazy with big thunder and close lightning strikes.  Gabby got lots of treats.  She's starting to be less and less fearful of storms.  Being able to bring her to work sure is nice.

Tracy, sorry the stain came back and the smell lingers. :(

Tracy that stinks about the fishy carpet. No pun intended!

It took me a few episodes to get into orange is the new black. It's definitely not your typical show. A lot of topics are things we have never seen on TV before. Once I got over my shock, I got addicted and watched the entire first season over the course of a week.

There have been a lot of great shows over the last few years. Way more so than movies.

It’s Tuesday, but I lost my whole post here last night, so I figured I’d try again!

Tracy, I am glad Ruby is back to herself and I sure hope the carpet folks can get rid of the odor and stain soon!

Karen, a new car—that’s fun! Tons and tons of positive thoughts for Bugsy. And, Bugsy—I’m with you; I don’t like the heat either.

I haven’t seen Orange is the New Black.

Doug and Glenda—the pictures from both of you are great! Glenda, are you feeling any better yet?

We need some rain here, too. I think we're supposed to get some on Friday.

Unfortunately, no, the shoulder is still pretty bad.  Ortho called  today to let me know that the MRI is June 30th.  Really?  Can't get it any sooner  when the MRI is working 24/7?
