Ha!  My coworker had two pitbulls growing up.  Several months ago I was complaining about Ruby having endless energy, and I said something like, "Well, she's nearly 3, so hopefully she'll settle down soon."  My coworker said, "I hate to break it to you, but my dogs had that kind of energy until they were 7 or 8 years old, and I ran with them every single day!"  Oy.

I'm sure she'd have found the burger and wings buried in the sand, too.  She is a master sniffer and digger in the backyard.  The other day I made the mistake of leaving her outside for 5 minutes alone, and when I came back out, there was a HUGE dead dahlia tuber in the middle of the yard and a very large hole in the flowerbed!

A pittie making a bird like noise?  I wonder if it's an alternate version of the bizarre chortling that Ruby does.  It really does sound very much like the sound Chewbacca makes, only more high-pitched.  

Happy birthday to ginger! Karen your pics looked nice. You are crazy for going out in those rough seas. I almost drowned doing that once in Lake MI. Which reminds me I need to dig out my life jacket. I'm supposed to go kayaking on Monday with a friend and our rivers are high and fast right now with lots of obstacles.

I'm so looking forward to a long relaxing weekend of not driving very far in any direction. Driving back and for to NC then driving all around the state for work this week (6 hrs just today!)  has taken its toll. Brain. Fried.

At work today when I got back to the office I was razing a coworker for being a Slacker he was the last of us to get some reporting done (due tomorrow). While I'm giving him a hard time our big boss jumps in the conversation and reminds me that I was past the deadline on some reporting that I needed to do for him. Doh! It was classic and the guy I was harassing had a good laugh at my expense haha. Needless to say I got my reporting done right after that ;p I'm so ready for the weekend!

Tracy he is still very active, he just has finally learned how to chill.

I had so much fun today, I grew up by the sea so have some savvy with the waves, surprised me how well I did really :)
