Our farm stand is closed for the season, too.   Besides the produce being incredibly delicious, it was super convenient, since it happens to be our neighbor's garden.  Ha!

Janice, our hummingbirds are very vocal and demanding, too.  Sometimes I think they get extra impatient because they start dive bombing my head while I'm pulling weeds!

As for Colorado, I've heard Fort Collins is a neat town.  I think it's smaller so maybe it's affordable for the not-so-rich hippies?!

Julie - I think you'll love Colorado but I reallyyyyyy want you to come to California :)

I really appreciate all the good thoughts you guys.  I knew I had to share here, b/c I feel like you all are my extended family.

I still don't want to say too much, especially on a public board, and I have to put out that any opinions I express are strictly my own and are not in any way authorized by JCI....

I think, at least for now DH and I are fine.  Our understanding is that the engineering for these product lines is not moving at this time.  We have a union shop and negotiations are being moved up from Feb to Nov 2nd.  I imagine more information will be shared after that.

I really wanted to check out the farmer's markets we have around here, but I never got to them.  At least one of them is indoor, so it might stay open, but I don't know how any of that works.
