Shane is doing great and his poops seem normal as of this afternoon. I was told the Flagyl would work quickly and it sure did. His mouth seems to be healing well too. He has 2 more days of antibiotics.

The engineer exam is for those who want to actually drive the trucks or engines.  Some places call it apparatus operator. DH has wanted that job from the day he became a firefighter and he'd be good at it. His an excellent driver and very detail oriented. They have to know flow rate of water and a bunch of other stuff like that. I really hope he does well and not just for him/us but for the fire dept.

I used to never be able to cry in public and it's not something I've strived for but as I've gotten older, it comes more unexpectedly. Not like I'm a huge inconsolable puddle but I can cry over a sappy commercial these days.
