Glenda, make sure you share with us any successful techniques you discover while training the GSDs to twerk!

Congrats, Jackie, on the contract news!  Glad you don't have to be a WalMart greeter.  From the definition Deb supplied, it sounds like an unpleasant job!

Cathy, I hope there's nothing serious going on with your friend's kidney.  Thinking good thoughts for her.

Tina, we had a major wasp nest problem 2 years ago, and DH's usual spraying and knocking down techniques were useless.  We had to call in the professionals -- and one nest was so large they had to wait for winter (when the bees vacate it) to cut it out of our soffet (they got inside a small crevice and built something in the space over our bedroom ceiling).  It was about the size of a volleyball!

Bugsy, you must be so excited to have your Grandma visiting!  Poor Miss Ruby is lost today . . . I took my Mom and our friend to the airport early this AM.  She's looking around for them.  She really liked having them here.  We enjoyed them too, but I sure am looking forward to the return to our normal routine.  My eating, sleeping, exercising, TV watching, and dog forum viewing has been totally haywire for 2 weeks!

I forgot to say that I think we all can relate to being surrounded by crazy people at work at least once in our careers!

I still feel that way some days, but now that I have no coworkers, it brings a whole new meaning to the idea of working with crazy people.  :-)

I think Co-Co might be game for learning to twerk, she is constantly sticking her back end up and head down to get scratched.

lol @ dog twerking group. Yes, we do need a dog twerking thread!  If I had more time tonight I'd start it. But I only have 5 mins then I have to run out the door again.

    Congrats again Jackie!

funny about being surrounded by crazy people at a mental facility. that made me chuckle.

I spent the morning doing the political hand shaking and schmoozing thing. I never know how to take "I've heard your name many times...many times" as I'm introduced to high level officials. It's either bad or good lol. Most likely bad :)

I did have a funny conversation though this morning. I was introduced to the state department's communication director and he said "I spend most of my time making sure people don't make idiot's of themselves". I said "well that's a full time job, we all have a little idiot inside us". He LOL'd and agreed. I enjoyed that exchange because it is rare that someone in his position is so candid.

ok off to practice articles with Abbie.

As a side note, I really need someone to kick my ass back to the gym. I haven't been in over a month and am starting to go into winter hibernation mode.

I typed ass and the forum didn't bleep me. Awesome!

Btw the last post button doesn't seem to work anymore. I thought at one point it did work (would actually take you to the last post in the thread). Maybe I was dreaming.
