I see what you're saying about the time being visible when in rich formatting, Tina.  Not much use if we want to see what time the most recent post was posted.   I can do a screen shot and I can save it to a word document but I couldn't get it to load here the other day.  Guess I'm not technically advanced enough either.

Cathy, I saw the diagnosis on Shane on FB but wanted to say again that I hope he improves quickly.  He needs ice cream.  That's what Belle said. :)

Cathy...poor Shane...so glad there is no surgery necessary.  That is great news that your piles at work are small and your co-worker did a good job.  I can certainly appreciate how nice that can be.  BTW, today I finally was able to finish the reading you shared last week on the SAR team from Sacramento.  Mr. Lee's account was very moving.  This is a site I will keep in my favorites.

I must have missed the call sar link. Can someone post it again?

Sorry about shanes injury.  I hope he heals up fast!

We failed our test :( it was really really hard and abbie blew it. I feel very defeated. there's another reason I feel totally defeated but I don't want to go into it here. For right now I need to drown my sorrow in ice cream

Interesting about the time being included in the heading when typing a rich text reply.  Hadn't noticed that before.

Cathy, I'm so sorry you had to come home to a double-whammy of upset.  I can't imagine dealing with that fridge/freezer mess on any day, nevermind after just coming home from a vacation AND after finding Shane has an issue, too!

I'm so glad Shane didn't need an emergency tooth extraction or anything like that.  Mouth ulcers don't sound fun either -- but hopefully they can clear up quickly after the rounds of meds.  Do you know if he chewed on something too long or too often while you were away?  Poor guy -- I know how awful things like canker sores can feel.  It's too bad you can't get a dog to gargle with salt water!

Not sure I'd drink today's beverage . . . but my mother must've heard something on TV this morning, because she said:  "Did you know it's National Cheeseburger Day?"  I said, "Yes, I did -- a very reliable source gave me that info earlier today!"

Took my mother and our friend to the beach today - gorgeous weather (sunny, mid 60's).  Saw lots of beautiful coastline and had delicious salmon for dinner.  I think we're going to Portland tomorrow -- I hope to get to Powell's Books, the largest bookstore in the country (an entire city block).
