Friday 8-23-13 very confused chat

Figured I'd try attaching a picture to see how that works.  Seems easy enough once I cropped the picture to make it small enough, but I can't see where it will be in this post, I'm guessing the bottom?

Anyways, snapped this this morning.  Aaron is 9 months today and Hannah starts 3rd grade on Monday.

    Happy Birthday Jackie!

ETA: oh I see, I have to do "insert media" instead of "attachment.  My mistake.

    waving hello

I am staring at the biggest binder of materials ever

Tomorrow I start training the first 8 hours of 12. The content isn't finished yet. This isn't my job and part of me wonders just whose job it is as when we have the big pow-wow's everyone seems to dial someone who isn't there for the answers.

This actually takes some of the stress away for me because, hey I can only deliver what I have!

Other than the crazy hours all seems good - well except the other contract worker who is one of those people I would choose to never have met. She irks me in every way. I don't really have to work WITH her so I am trying my best to not let it bother me.

So here it is Friday night and I have about 2 more hours to put in before leaving at about 6:30 to do the training.

    Weekend? Ha!

So happy birthday Jackie - a toast to one of the great ones!

Boo hiss for all negative things and Deb I saw the drink and I'll have one. Don't care what sort of cherries you use or any other ingredients either. Just make it alcholic

Oh for heavens sakes!  There are tried and true forum software packages out there, I even listed some in the survey we did awhile back.  Why did they have to develop their own from scratch?!

    Happy Birthday Jackie!

OK - with loads of thanks to Callie I managed to get logged in, but I don't know where on the forum I am ... if that makes any sense at all ... and I'm sure that tomorrow I won't remember how I did it.

Tracy, I'm right with you as far as adapting to change so we'll just muddle through it together.

I was reading about the rim fire in the paper this morning and I had no idea that it was such a threat to San Francisco since it's about 150 miles away, but SF has been declared a disaster area by the governor.  Apparently they get their water from the Hetch Hetchy reservoir which is seriously threatened and the entire city of SF could wind up losing all power. Something in the area of 125,000 acres have burned already. I don't know how they'll get that one out barring a good heavy rain, which is unlikely in August.
