Karen - do you use any type of retinoid face or eye cream? I use retin A and have for many years. I went to get an upper lip wax and when the girl pulled off the wax on the one side, she looked horrified and said she needed to get her supervisor. Her supervisor came in and asked if I used retin A or anything like that and I said I did. She said they wouldn't be able to do the other side and if I ever wanted it done again, I had to stop using the cream 2 weeks in advance. I left with one side of my upper lip looking like it had a road rash but it sure was smooth

Tina - that workout sounds like what I need. I'm not good about putting a dvd in and then finishing the workout though. I do fine working out on my elliptical but that's because I can watch something else on tv. I really could use a different workout though.

I gave DGS a ride home to Fairfield yesterday evening and was driving back home when that fire in the hills between Vacaville and Fairfield started.  When I saw it, it wasn't very wide, but it went from the bottom of the hill to the top and over and according to the 11:00 p.m. news, it grew pretty fast.  It's always windy in that neck of the woods so I guess that's why  they said they planned to have fire crews out there most of the night.  I've lived in CA all my life and that's the first time I've actually seen one of those fires.  Usually I just get the smoke and soot that blows around.  Scary ... how fast those things spread. I hope none of the homes on the other side of the hills burned.
