My grampa gave me some zucchini from his garden. Tonight I made a really yummy marinara zucchini bake with a cheesy souffle-type top. Of course, I was the only one that liked it. Seriously, this is why my family eats nothing but pizza, mac-n-cheese, pasta, and burritos. Every time I get all elaborate and try something new nobody likes it.

 Great news Julie! What a great BFF, makes me miss mine (shes in Texas)! High 80s and 90s last week and low 70s yesterday and today. My house has finally cooled down. No a/c here cause its only like this a week or so every summer. I'm ready for fall. Sweatshirts,jeans, etc... (let the shopping commence).

Glenda, geez.  I thought pedestrians had the right of way everyplace.  Not so?  Still, there are a high number of pedestrian deaths in San Francisco and they all seem to be in a crosswalk or walking with the light ... usually mowed down by people making a fast right turn.

I got the new Grandin Road catalog in the mail today and I'm seriously tempted to order a 5' skeleton and some bats with glowing eyes.   Before I do, I need to figure out where I would keep it during the rest of the year  because I've already got Santa in the living room - I don't need to have a skeleton there with him.

hahahaha Joyce!! I think the obvious answer would be the dining room for the skeleton, of course. Then the Easter bunny in the kitchen, and a leprechaun in the bathroom... You'd never have to decorate for the seasons/holidays again!
