I saw a ton of great stuff but was thrilled to see a few osprey and drumroll........... A bald eagle. I tell you what, keep all your fancy stuff, luxury suites and jewels, a couple of hours on the lake in this weather and I could not be happier

.  I couldn't agree more.  :) 

We're all done with the computer projects at work.  All seems to have transferred smoothly.

We're due to reach 80 or so today with plenty of sun,

Believe it ot not, that's what I've got my AC set at ... 80.  I've got the floor fans and ceiling fans on and it feels great inside because outside it's 104.  Max is sprawled in front of one of the floor fans, keeping his fuzzy butt cool. I think this is supposed to last through the weekend, then go back to the high 80s to low to mid 90s.

Glenda (from yesterday) I can't believe your neighbor would say something like that to you.  Some people grieve openly, some don't. I found it easier to just get on with a normal routine - or as normal as possible.

She was making rude comments to her hubby today about my "thong" undies hanging out on the line.  I don't own a thong and never will.  But, I wear a size 8 slacks so I guess compared to her size 20 plus slacks, and her undies big enough to be sails on a boat, mine must look like thongs.  I got the giggles so bad I had to go in the house!

I honestly don't know how I'm "supposed" to act or feel.  And, yes, everyone deals with gut wrenching grief in their own way.  I'm sorry if she thinks I should be laying in bed sobbing 24/7 and wearing widows weeds and my living life offends her.....but, well, she can kiss my fanny!

  I highly doubt shes ever seen a thong! If it were me I'd go buy some really scandalous thongs and hang them out on the line.
