Lisa, that was really nice of you to write them a letter. I am sure they always appreciate that type of thing and prob even more so considering how you started the school year.

I hope all of you who had rough starts ended with a better day!

The parading stuff around the house thing always cracks me up. Even if I tried to act mad, the dogs would see through it. How can you not laugh at those antics? And actually, I use lilys love for carrying things and showing them off to my advantage. When i first adopted her she was afraid of most people and would bark and bark. She is mostly over that but still gets barky when we go camping or for certain people around the house. When I want to shut her up, I just grab whatever is close and offer it to her. She will happily take it in her mouth and then she gets all kinds of praise. This completely changes her state of mind from alarm barking to happy wiggly fool. Our last camping trip, I kept and empty pop bottle at hand and gave it to her everytime she alarm barked. She loved it.

Today was a busy day at work. I don't think i made much progress on my to do list. Instead i dealt with fires. After work though i went kayaking with the local club. It was a perfect day for it 70 and sunny, no wind or bugs or humidity. Then we all went to a local burger/pub. Good times.
