You can say more than one line and actuly have a conversation with people other than the : hello how are you what is your name blah blah blah... • brookcove Posted : 7/9/2006 2:27:34 PM I used to chat when I had an office job.  It was fun and not as distracting as a forum.  It was a good way to keep in touch with a couple friends that had moved across the country, and also had office jobs. We both quit our office jobs at the same time, and I stopped using chat - it seems too inane to be worth sitting down at the computer.  I like the online communities for the exchange of ideas, but if I want to get to know someone better, I like to go to private e-mail, phone, and in person if possible. The topics range from Tips and Training to Rescue/Adoption and Hound chat.
