She just realized this, today. I sacrificed a frisbee. It wasn't intentionally sacrificed, but it was worth it. We have a pond, that's about an acre, square. It's shallow around the very edge, but very deep in the middle (it's spring fed). She's played in the edge, a lot, and she likes drinking out of it, but I have not convinced her to swim, yet. Today, I floated the frisbee, upside down, in the pond. She went in, dunked the frisbee (like she does in her baby pool), then swam in a small circle looking for it. She jumped out, shook, lept back in, and swam around some more. I got a tennis ball, and she swam all over chasing that thing! She had a blast, and I'm sure it's far better for her joints than running and jumping, like she does. She couldn't get the tennis ball out of the water, LOL. It's a little too big, so it's still floating around the pond. I hope the catfish don't eat it!
Anyhow, when she got out, she barfed a bunch of water. I guess she swallowed it, chasing the ball. Is that... ok? Will she learn to stop doing that?
