Mindless on Saturday

It feels like the day never got started with this weather.  It never really got all that light out and it's just pouring!  Willow still felt like she wanted to hike into the woods because suddenly she will ONLY go in the woods now.  We cannot poop in just the park area. We were drenched.

Oh Jackie have a great day tomorrow with Charles!  I am sure it will pick his spirits up and your too!

This Rain is unbelievable!  Been pouring all day, just a steady down pour.  DH straighten out the basement and moved things up on higher ground we tend to get some water when it rains like this durning the spring thaw - I hope we don't get to much!

My grand daughter is here for the weekend her and Cody are having a ball - they are so close like brother and sister instead of nephew and neice but sometimes the arguing get's a lttle out of control!  We watch "where the wild things are" tonight, it was alright the book has been a favorite with my kids for years and much better than the movie - but it was ok.

I think I have a mouse!  I had a talk with Charlotte (our kitty)  tonight and told her she better find her before I wake up tomorrow - cause thats her job!

I was thiking if Jackie and Charles are looking for beach fun maybe we should wait for Amanda to find the perfect place and we can all bring the dogs and enjoy the day with them at Amanda's!  What do you think Amanda?  The pressure is on to find a house now don't you think?

I think I'm gonna go see if I can find a good western on cable, I am in the mode for some macho-ness!

Our wireless provider had decided not to honor their own policy on my wife's replacement phone. We have insurance on it and were supposed to be credited for it when we returned it. They stil wanted to charge us for the cost of the phone, which was not supposed to happen. This was over a week ago. So, we paid the regular bill and they still cut off ou service. So, today, I went with the provider I had years ago, got new phones, cheap, and a great low rate.

I guess that other provider thinks it can run over customers in this cut-throat economy. Good luck with that.

Cher got attacked by a little, yappy, frou frou dog today in petsmart. She was sitting next to me, helping pick out a new toy, when the little mongrel attacked her from behind. The idiot owner had the little monster on a flexi & wasn't paying attention. I had to kick the dog four times to get it off of Cher, & then I had to pick Cher up to keep the dog from latching on again.

Once Cher was up in my arms, the little monster went after Bev. Unfortunately for the little dog, Bev lives with Shooter, so he knows how to deal with evil little sh!ts. Bev put the little dog's head in his mouth, & then layed down on top of it. It was at this moment that the evil little mop's owner noticed that there was a problem. She freaked out, & started screaming at me for "not controlling my viscious monsters." Before I had a chance to say anything, another person, who saw the entire incident, informed her that it wasn't my "viscious monsters" who started the attack. By that time, store management showed up & escorted the bitch, & her evil little mutt out of the store.

Cher recovered from the attack much better than I had expected. She was nervous & jumpy until we met a family with two special needs boys. Bev was happy to meet them, as per normal, but Cher pulled herself together, & went to meet one of the boys, who was in a wheelchair. She sat there, sweetly, with her head in his lap while he loved on her.

Cher is a snob. She loves DH, the boys, & I, but she could care less about other people. She seems to enjoy seeing people beg her to come over & say hi, before ignoring them completely. I was really proud of her for reacting the way she did.

Cher has 6 punctures & some scratches on her back & neck. She is, once again, on antibiotics.

I would be totally ok with that!  Although, it does put pressure on me to find a house!

Cher is a snob. She loves DH, the boys, & I, but she could care less about other people. She seems to enjoy seeing people beg her to come over & say hi, before ignoring them completely. I was really proud of her for reacting the way she did.
