Paige, I tented, backpacked and trailer camped tons when I was younger. When my DH and I decided to do some camping for Bluegrass festivals we invested in this:

We paid less than $100 dollars for it and I considered that a steal. It has 2 rooms in the back that can convert to one and it was plenty big enough for 2 people, the gear the people bring, 1 dog size large, his crate and a full queen double high air mattress for me.
I too like my comforts. I think you should go for it!
