     I'm one who always left pregnancy to those who wanted to be (that didn't include me), but I'm always glad for people who like kids and get to have them.  I "borrowed" my kids;-)   The younger one just gave me the opportunity to (with no labor pains, no college tuition, no waiting up for the car to pull in the driveway) be a grandma.  It's a boy!

    I am NOT!!  No plans on it again; however, I do miss being pregnant.  I know it sounds completely bizarre, but I do.  My pregnancy was soo easy, the birth was soo easy, etc.  Chuffy I was in the same group with you last time :)  I think we only went a couple of weeks apart.

    Too bad I am too old to be a surrogate mother, I would totally do it,  However, with me only a couple of years away from 40 (YIKES!!!!), I don't think anyone would want me.  LOL

    Best of luck to you Chuffy and Janice.  Janice I look every morning to see if you are still posting here and FB to see if you went or not.  Good luck sweetie!!

    I think I was in that group last time too...at least at the beginning. But Kali was born in December. Will didn't arrive till late April of the next year right? He's my Birthday Buddy, so I remember. Wink Jan, the day I went into labour with Kali, I made two big pots of soup, and promptly went into labour when it was time to divide it up for the freezer. Chuffy is onto something.

     Yes I think that's right, Will was born April 07 Smile

     Glad I'm not going bonkers... I knew there were quite a few of us last time, I really enjoyed that!  

    Oo, lessee.... other stuff to get labour going: evening primrose oil to help ripen the cervix....  can be taken orally or - ahem - inserted.Embarrassed   Fresh pineapple.  Lots of "quality time" with the other half.  Wink  Spicy food.  Bouncing on a birthing ball or going for a drive down a bumpy road.  Or (this one is my fave) wear your best knickers.  Guaranteed your waters will break in them.

     Maybe I am jumping the gun a bit, but has anyone seen Jan the last couple of days?  Only I got a feeling she might have left the house in her best knickers and I'm getting all excited....

    She had a scheduled c-section for yesterday.  There was a picture up on facebook, Sonja is a little darling cutie pie!  I think she was born around 12 noon Smile

    Congrats to those who are expecting. And who said being 40 or older is undesirable. I have a birthday next week and I will have you know that mosquitos like me quite a bit. Wrong species, but hey, I am rambling ...
