Thanks Callie! I know how crazy it can be when it comes to pharmaceuticals and if there's anything I can do to help make it easy on someone, I'm more than willing to help. I'm really hoping that Sunshine talked to the pharmacy regarding her medication because I want to be sure she got the correct medication.

I wasn't able to contact the pharmacy today, but will tomorrow morning..... Thank you Meilani for the pics that you sent of the generic Ambien..... none of the pics matched the peach pills they gave me. I did okay on the Advil PM last night.... took one and didn't feel anything.....so took another around 11 pm and zonked out..... I did wake up a couple of times, but had some really good dreams while I was asleep, whereas with the Ambien, when I dream, they are not good dreams.... I also had no withdrawal symptoms today, which I was really afraid of - AND I didn't feel as depressed either.

I do want to get to the bottom of the Ambien situation because it really concerns me that this pharmacy is giving two different manufacturers in the same bottle. I wish I could get my $$ back..... I'll let you know what the pharmacist says tomorrow. Thanks again for the input!!

Due to regulations, the pharmacy cannot take back medication or give refunds. However, if they made a mistake on your medication, then they do have to fix the situation, give you the correct medication and give a refund. Well, at least that's how it's done at my pharmacy. I'm just more concerned that you may have been given the incorrect medication because I could not find anything that resembled the peach tablets. Now, you may have been given the correct medication, and it could be a new manufacturer that's not showing up on drug identifiers, but I'd rather play it safe than sorry by double checking. I would also ask them to check in your past history to find out which manufacturers you've had in the past in order to find out which one you did best on. Tell them that you'd prefer to be on that one and to special order it for you. As I said before, it should not be a problem unless it's on back order or discontinued. I hope everything works out ok and keep me updated.

I did speak with the pharmacist and he wants me to bring in the peach colored pills that were dispensed to me. He said that since the first of the year, there have been issues in getting some of the generics in, he's not sure why. He did say he would try to special order for me, but the one that I had been doing good on was recently recalled..... sooo, I have to take the pills in to him and go from there... he was very friendly and as helpful as he could be, but I don't feel very confident in their being able to special order the same meds fro me each month and that's a problem.

The Advil PM is not working well for me..... I'm not sleeping much at all.... :(

Have you tried Melatonin ?

I use this and it works for me. Spring Valley 5mg Melatonin - 120ct- it's only $ 9.00 at Walmart.
