    Do Boston Terriers shed?

    As far as I know, yes. Most dogs shed to some extent, some worse than others, Huskies come to mind. I think there's only a couple dogs that don't shed, but they may all shed too. I don't know every breed so I can't say for sure. Boston's won't shed as much as a longer haired breed though.

    Hair length really doesn't have much to do with shedding amounts.  Papillons are a longer haired dog but they don't shed much because they have no undercoat.  Shelties have long hair and shed a ton.  Many shorter haired breeds still shed a lot, just the hair is shorter.  ;) 
     
    As for Boston Terriers, my grandfather had some but I really honestly don't remember if they shed too much or not.

    Mine sheds more than the cats!  Any dog hair I find on anything always belongs to Harley!  His hair seems sort of coarse as well.
