Is that natural to have some you don't like? [8|] lol

I think so, in fact, I don't know many people (including myself) who don't have a few breeds that they don't like.  Lots of people on messageboards say they love all dogs and all breeds ut I've never met anyone like that in person.

Here's one.  While there are some breeds that I wouldn't go out of my way to OWN, if someone dropped one on my doorstep I wouldn't turn it away.  I genuinely love all breeds and mixes.

    Nobody loves dachshunds!!!

I do!  But I like the mini versions much better... and I like them even better now that I have seen their personality, not just the look.

But, based solely on looks (at dog shows) and what people have said on this board (meaning I have not done my own research on these) I like these... in no particular order:

    Viszla
    Weimaraner
    Great Dane
    Irish Setter
    Mastiff

    • Gold Top Dog
    AKITAS!!!
    • Gold Top Dog
    GSD's
    Golden Retrievers
    Clumber Spaniels
    Great Danes
    Bassett Hounds
    Labs

I generally don't like small dogs, maybe it makes me feel fatter, hehehe[sm=rotfl.gif][sm=rotfl.gif]

I especially like big, athletic dogs, like German Shepherds, Labs, Huskies, Malamutes, Dobies, and Rotties.  I also like Beagles, JRTs, Dachshunds, and Bassett Hounds.  I know there's more, but I can't think of them right now.  [:)]  And of course, I love mixed breeds, also.
    • Gold Top Dog
    Doberman Pinschers, Great Danes, Greyhounds.
    • Gold Top Dog
Sighthounds!!!  Pharaoh Hounds, Deerhounds, Ibizans, Greyhounds, Whippets, IGs...

Akitas, Dobies, GSDs, Huskies, Mals, Pekingnese, Chins, and many more.

There are breeds I wouldn't seek out but wouldn't turn away either.  I love most dogs, it's the owners I would love to put shock collars onto.

    I can't really find a breed of dog i don't like.

I like just about every breed, especially:
    German Shepherds
    English Springer Spaniels
    Norweigan Elk Hounds (Norweigan Buhund)
    Basset Hounds
    Dachshunds
    Field Spaniel
    Flat coated retriever

    Pug

The list goes on for me.  Of course, theres always the good ol' mutt.

I prefer long haired dogs and I wouldn't keep/adopt a smooshed face breed of dog.    I just don't like the look so that's all vanity.  The coat is more of a petting factor for me, I like the feel.  :)  As for breeds I'd like to own if I could....

    -working aussie
    -working BC
    -smooth JRT
    -toller
    -pom
    -papillion

are you seeing the trend here?  ;)
    • Gold Top Dog
I do loveall dogs but I would not prefer the froo froo kinds.  I wouldnt want one, but I certainly wouldnt be mean to it or anything.

Mutts are number 1, I will always own a mutt or two or three...

    whippets
    pitt bulls
    viszlas
    great danes
    gsds
    dobermans
    rotts
    etc

Large to Giants from the working group : Saints, Pyrs, Newfs, Leos, Mastiffs (both English and Neo) This is my fav group, I could honestly be happy owning any breed from the working group.

Larger sighthounds: Borzoi (this was my childhood dream dog) Scottish Deerhound, Irish Wolfhound

Non-Sporting: Frenchies, Bostons and English Bulldogs

    Toy: Cavs and Pekes

I tend to not care for dogs from the sporting and herding groups. Too much energy for me.

    My favorite breeds:

    1. Shih Tzu
    2. French Bulldog
    3. Shar Pei

I tend to like dogs with flat faces, the exception being Shar Pei with their wonderful hippo muzzles! I like dogs that don't need a lot of exercise and are affectionate, but have somewhat of an independent streak.

I was never a "small dog person" either. I've found that the Shih Tzu has the personality of a bigger dog (wants to walk, not be carried), is laid back, not yappy, etc. They're just an incredibly convenient size. :)
